About

Dr. Jane Rhyu is a general endocrinologist who practices in Porter Ranch. She sees patients with a variety of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and parathyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disorders. Her clinical interests include medical education and quality improvement in medical care.

Dr. Rhyu completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University, where she graduated as a Merrill Presidential Scholar. She received her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed her internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she received the Ben Newman Award for humanism in medicine, followed by fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at UCLA.

I had a follow up endocrinologist appt today in the Porter Ranch location with Dr Jane Rhyu it went well

Dr. Rhyu is very caring and listens to your concerns. She is an excellent physician. I am a RN so I recognize that she is very thorough and knowledgeable. I am very concerned that I may have a pancreatic tumor and she was able to have me seen by a G thank you GI doctor today. I really appreciate her.

Dr Rhyu is at the top of my list of doctors who have cared for me. She is incredibly knowledgeable and curious. Dr Rhyu asks great questions to me about how I am doing with my treatment and always offers thoughtful insights when I ask her questions. She is flexible and will adjust to my priorities for health and wellness, with the caveat that my long term health and the control of my current health issues are not being compromised. Dr Rhyu always answers all of my questions about next steps and possible changes to medications and the pros and cons of those changes. She makes me feel heard in our office visits and my ability to fully control my health issues has never been better as a result of her care. Dr Rhyu is a special Doctor and I feel blessed to have her taking care of me.
