About

Jamil Aboulhosn, MD specializes in adult congenital heart disease, structural interventional cardiology, and heart disease in pregnancy. Dr. Aboulhosn is the Director of the Ahmanson/UCLA Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center. He is a member of the writing committee for the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Guidelines on Adult Congenital Heart Disease and is the Chairman of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) ACHD Board Examination Committee.

Dr. Aboulhosn is also actively involved with Camp del Corazon, a free camp for children with heart disease. Gala del Sol, the annual fundraising celebration of Camp del Corazon, honored Dr. Aboulhosn as a leader in congenital heart disease in April 2017. Not only is Dr. Aboulhosn at the forefront of providing the best cardiac care to congenital heart disease patients but he is a leader in treating every patient as a unique individual.

It was over the phone. He was kind and extremely helpful. He shared news that was not easy to hear and he explained the next steps and was very reassuring about the process that need to be taken

I was called in by the nurse on time and with great courtesy, the Dr came in and carefully explained the tests results and gave detailed direction on how to proceed forward with medications and what to watch for as of symptoms!
