About

Dr. Ahronowitz is the Vice Chief of Clinical Affairs in the UCLA Division of Dermatology. She completed both medical school and dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco. She provides care to patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions. Her academic interests are in clinical operations, medical education, infectious diseases, skin conditions of organ transplant recipients, and HIV dermatology. She is a past recipient of the USC Dermatology Teaching Award and the USC Provost’s Mentoring Award.

Dr. Ahronowitz is such a wonderful doctor: caring, very patient, a great listener, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced. She was my mom’s dermatologist at another medical facility. My mom had a very severe skin condition. With Dr. Ahronowitz’s care , my mom’s condition is totally under control. After Dr Ahronowitz left that medical facility, we are so glad that we found out that she came to UCLA. We are so blessed to continue having her as our dermatologist.

I saw this doctor for the first time because she was covering for the doctor that I had seen before, who was out of the office. I needed a follow up to check on a problem that was taking longer to heal. The doctor was punctual, polite, efficient and friendly. She answered all of my questions, gave me the advice I needed, and treated the problem area. I was very pleased.
