About
Dr. Hobart Leung is a Community Track Fellow at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM). Growing up in Toronto, Canada, he developed an interest in Eastern Medicine early in life through his father, who was a hobbyist in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Dr. Leung earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. He then completed subspecialty training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the University of Rochester (Strong Memorial Hospital).
Following the completion of his medical training, Dr. Leung has focused on serving as a Primary Care Internist in underserved community clinics. His dedication to exploring diverse treatment options led him to pursue training in Clinical Hypnosis, and he is currently working toward certification with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Leung is passionate about expanding his therapeutic toolkit to provide comprehensive care to patients from all backgrounds, particularly those in underserved communities.
