About
Dr. Hiren Swami is a board-certified family medicine physician at UCLA Health in Ventura.
He is a Ventura native and is thrilled to have the opportunity to return to his hometown and serve the local community. He enjoys providing whole person comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. His healthcare philosophy is an ounce of prevention is worth a pound in cure. Some of his clinical interests include integrative medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, and outpatient procedures.
Dr. Swami graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. He obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine with high honors and then completed his residency training at Riverside University Health System/UC Riverside. During his residency, he was voted one of the Top 10 Providers in Riverside County by patients and was presented with Resident Patient Care Award.
Outside of the office, Dr. Swami enjoys spending time with his family/friends, cooking, baking, reading, and playing the darbuka.
