Hannah C. Reiser, MD

Dr. Hannah Reiser (she/her) is triple board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Complex Family Planning, and Clinical Informatics. She completed her medical degree at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago, where she also completed the Medical Education Research, Innovation, Teaching, and Scholarship (MERITS) Program. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Complex Family Planning at UCLA, during which she also pursued advanced training in Clinical Informatics and research through UCLA’s Resident Informaticist Program and the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s Certificate Program.

Dr. Reiser is passionate about providing comprehensive reproductive healthcare to all of her patients. Her clinical practice includes prenatal care, labor and delivery, general gynecology, family planning services including abortion, complex contraception, and surgical sterilization, adolescent gynecology, and OBGYN care for gender-diverse patients, including gender-affirming surgeries. She established UCLA’s Complex Contraception Clinic, expanding access to advanced contraceptive services for patients with medical comorbidities and high-risk reproductive needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Reiser integrates informatics and systems-based approaches to improve quality, safety, and equitable access in reproductive healthcare delivery. Her research portfolio includes cost-effectiveness analyses related to contraception and abortion care, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical informatics projects focused on reproductive health. She is a dedicated educator to medical students, residents, and fellows within the OBGYN department and across the university.

Dr. Reiser is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society of Family Planning and the American Medical Informatics Association.
