About

Dr. Hannah Kwak is a primary care physician who enjoys caring for both children and adults.  Her interests include women’s health, transition medicine for those with chronic childhood conditions, adolescent/young adult health, and preventive medicine to optimize lifestyle management to prevent chronic diseases. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about improving community health and the quality of health care services delivered to patients.

Dr. Kwak grew up in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area where she completed her undergraduate education at University of Maryland – College Park.  She moved to Michigan to complete her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University before coming to the University of California – Los Angeles to complete a Preventive Medicine fellowship.

In her free time, she loves trying new foods, taking walks with her dog and spending time with family and friends.

This doctor is an excellent!! She has patience, empathy, and knowledge for all my problems. She is listen, giving advise, and take time to address all my problems. I felt she really cared about my problems to help me the best. She is the best doctor I experienced among all other UCLA doctors. I’m so glad that I’m her patience.

Past experiences were better so hoping this is a one off. I felt like I repeated my symptoms many times and was asked questions that I answered already upon describing my symptoms. It was frustrating and concerning because it made me feel like she was only half listening. For example, I explained my three main symptoms when the appointment first started and then she later inquired if I had two out of the three symptoms that I explained is the reason why I scheduled the appointment.
