She was upbeat, professional, spoke clearly and directly to me*, and took me seriously. Her exam was thorough. She made sure I understood what she told me and repeated the follow-up steps. Excellent, personable manner. *My husband is a doctor and was with me. Sometimes, when doctors hear he’s a doctor, they speak more to him than to me. Dr. Chakoukani spoke to me.

I came with a severe cough and congestion and my doctor did not listen to my lungs, check my throat, or did any other assesment and just prescribed me antibiotics after hearing my symptoms have been going on for a while. I would have liked a more thorough check up for my diagnosis to make sure this is the right treatment.

I was proactively listened to, as is usual with my doctor, and I was given immediate and actionable advice and support. I am experiencing physical and mental health issues at the moment and the doctor has single-handedly alleviated much anxiety I struggle to cope with through her supportive, respectful and understanding approach to a sensitive and challenging condition.
