About
Gabriela Sauder, MD earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine "Gr. T. Popa" Iasi, Romania, and her BS in Psychology from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Prior to coming to the U.S, Dr. Sauder was a board-certified internal medicine physician, and a clinical instructor of medicine. In the U.S., she earned a MS in Nursing from UCLA in 2012, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of California, Riverside in 2015. With a lifelong passion to help vulnerable and frail patients, Dr. Sauder pursued a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at UCLA (2016 -2017). After her fellowship graduation in 2017, Dr. Sauder has joined UCLA Health. Her interests are related to healthy aging, memory loss and dementia, psychiatry in primary care, polypharmacy, gait impairment and falls in older adults, urinary incontinence, weight loss and malnutrition, and end-of-life care. As a trained geriatrician, Dr. Sauder offers a Home Visit Program for the sick, frail and bed-bound older patients who fulfill the enrollment criteria. In addition to English, Dr. Sauder speaks Spanish, German and Romanian.

If I did not value Dr Sauder as a wonderful professional to be there for me during the aging process, I would have never driven to Woodland Hills in the rain yesterday. It was well the drive. I think it can be difficult for some dioctors to deal with all the issues that arise as we age. I never feel like an old woman when I leave her office but like a person who can play a big part in determining my future health.

Dr.Sauder is a wonderful caring doctor. She thoroughly checks all test results and explains everything. Being a caregiver to my husband is very trying and she always has comforting words for me
