About
Dr. Farid Arman is a board-certified nephrologist at UCLA Health, dedicated to delivering expert, compassionate kidney care across multiple locations, including the Connie Frank Kidney Transplant Center, UCLA Downtown Los Angeles, and the Santa Monica Nephrology and Infectious Diseases clinic. He is committed to improving patient outcomes through a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.
Dr. Arman earned his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran 2013. He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital in 2022. He then completed a fellowship in nephrology at Columbia Presbyterian Irving Medical Center, where he trained in advanced management of kidney disorders.
His clinical interests include glomerulonephritis, genetic kidney diseases, acid-base and electrolyte imbalances, and hepatorenal syndrome. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Arman is actively involved in academic medicine and values the integration of evidence-based care and medical education.
