Dr. Ezinne Emeruwa is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She received her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, during which time she also received a Master of Public Health degree with specialization in Biostatistics. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Stanford University where she remained for an extra year working as a hospitalist in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. She completed Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Columbia University and Pediatric Critical Care fellowship at Baylor University Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Emeruwa is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and is currently board eligible in Pediatric Critical Care. She works primarily in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. Her interests include global access to high-acuity and resource-intensive pediatric care particularly in relation to pediatric populations with heart disease.
