About

Dr. Maidan graduated cum Laude from the University of Florida with a degree in East Asian Languages and Literature and a minor in Zoology. He spent a year teaching social studies in middle school and then attended the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine for his medical degree. During medical school he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Iron Arrow Honor Societies. His training was completed in the combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Brown University where he served as co-chief resident in his last year. Dr. Maidan enjoys seeing patients throughout the age range from newborns to centenarians. He speaks English, Spanish, and a small amount of Japanese. He is actively involved in teaching medical students and has received many teaching awards. Special interests include preventive care, men's health, wellness through a healthy lifestyle, chronic disease management, e-health information technology, and transition from adolescence to adulthood.
