Ellen M Campbell, MD, MEd, BS

Dr. Ellen (Elle) Campbell is a general pediatrician and attending physician at UCLA. She sees patients alongside pediatric residents at the Children’s Health Center in Westwood and also provides care in the FIT for Healthy Weight Clinic.

Dr. Campbell earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona – Tucson, where she graduated with distinctions in Community Service, Bilingual Medical Spanish, and Rural Health. She received the Outstanding Senior Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement for earning top clinical grades and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She went on to complete her internship, residency, and chief residency in pediatrics at UCLA.

After training, Dr. Campbell served as faculty at another medical school before returning to UCLA as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. In addition to her clinical roles, she serves as a resident advisor, contributes to physician informatics initiatives, and is the Associate Director for Quality and Safety in the Department of Pediatrics. Her professional interests include quality improvement, obesity medicine, and breastfeeding medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Campbell enjoys spending time at the beach and exploring Los Angeles parks with her husband and children. She values partnering with families to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for every child.
