I’m 62 years old and have had many many physicians. Dr. Asfaw is by far my favorite. She is very knowledgeable and thoughtful. But more than anything she is attentive and makes me feel heard and cared for. Not sure why more Dr’s can’t be like her.

Dr. Asfaw is a caring doctor who is very sensitive to her patients’ needs. She always listens and tries to help. She is patient, kind and does everything she can to help her patients find the right solution. I’ve been seeing Dr. Asfaw for a few years now and the help and support I’ve received from her was always the best I could get. I appreciate her very much as she always looked out for my best interest.

She was punctual, which can be a rare thing with MDs. She asked the basic question I expected. Not too details but not rushing to get over with. She said she had read my chart prior as I was a transfer from another PCP. She explained the reasons I should get the tests I was having and also asked me if I had any questions or concerns.

My doctor is warm and welcoming, and she remembers who I am, which is huge because I know she has a lot of patients. I think she’s also very thorough as I have a few health conditions that she keeps her eye on. I feel cared for.
