For the five minutes that she took to do my exam, she chatted me about work, and when I tried to tell her a few things about my health, I felt very dismissed and not at all listened to. I get one wellness visit a year to talk about my health over the past year and literally I get five minutes of time?! It���s ridiculous. I���ve seen Dr. So for over 10 years. I���m not gonna see her again.

This was my very first visit with her and she was completely disinterested in me. She didn’t ask about what I ate about my sleep whether I exercised or how I was feeling. She interrupted me when I tried to explain that I was having a lot of trauma issues since I lost my mother and my brother nearly died and I was taking care of them. She literally spent less than four minutes with me in total.I have never been to a Doctor Who is this uncaring and disinterested. And only spent four minutes.

I had the worst experience at a doctors office, she rushed us so quickly and was dismissive that I couldn’t even get a chance to ask her any of the questions I had for her and the visit ended very very quickly and next thing I know I have my discharge papers. Overall just felt unwelcomed and as if I was the one bothering her. Needless to say I will not be coming back to her.

Dr. Soh has little bedside manner, barely looked from her computer, asked me only questions on the page and had no regard for my personal well being outside of what was on the page. Very unpleasant, would not feel comfortable in her care as she didn't even ask me why I was there that day or was my concern was. Low standard of care for the actual human in front of her.

Dr. So was on point, friendly and treated me as a person rather than just an account number. Dr. So also answered my questions in a straightforward manner, explaining in a way that allowed me to understand in a way that made me feel as if my concerns were actually valid and heard.

(I had no access to health care as a young child or young adult, hence I find dealing with healthcare issues difficult, and find it hard to navigate and understand the complexities of insurance companies and coverage, maintenance medications etc). Dr. So is very patient with me and answers all of my questions. Her empirical knowledge of female issues is much appreciated. She is succinct, decisive, and I think she takes very good care of my health. She is the best doctor I have ever had and I think she genuinely cares about my well being.

I would recommend looking elsewhere for primary care, even if it means waiting longer for an appointment. I scheduled with Dr. So because she was the first available, and now I understand why. The experience was frustratingly transactional. Dr. So was dismissive, curt, and lacked a personable approach. Rather than acting as a partner in my health, she functioned more as an unnecessary layer of red tape and process. If you value a physician who listens and treats you like a person rather than a box to be checked, avoid this provider.

As a follow up to a video call with another UCLA doctor I was only able to schedule a video call. Dr So wrote back saying that if I needed meds she needed to see me. I drove in, we can a quick but good meeting. I hope to feel better in another day or two. 5 Stars for fitting in into her busy schedule.

It started great. We did the physical and she was inputting my data while asking me about my health history. She went outside in the middle of my explanation because she needed to do something, but she said she would be back. She came back, quickly mentioned that she ordered me some lab tests, and that was it. The visit abruptly ended and I wasn’t at all clear about my next steps or my diagnosis, and there are some concerns that we haven’t addressed.

I had to book with this doctor because my primary care physician or general practitioner was unavailable. They made me feel like they were rushing out of the appointment. I had to stop them and let them know. I had more concerns and questions about my health. And even then she stood close to the door and seemed annoyed that she had to continue helping me
