About

Dr. Garvey is a Los Angeles native, and attended UCLA Medical School. She did her residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center where she specialized in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Garvey is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has practiced at the UCLA Brentwood office, seeing patients of all ages, since 1998. She has also been the Medical Director of the UCLA Mobile Clinic Project since 1999, caring for the homeless in West Los Angeles. Dr. Garvey enjoys primary care of all ages but especially enjoys helping families dealing with young babies and the challenging teen years. Additionally, she has specialized training in weight management.

Dr Garvey was very thorough taking time and explaining results of each test. She worked with me to further improve my health. She has an old time doctor/patient manner. I am very happy that she is my primary doctor and know she has my best interest at heart.

I had an excellent session with Dr. Garvey. I consider her one of the most outstanding doctors at UCLA. She knows her stuff. She explains every issue. She is considered as one of the best doctors we have come across at UCLA. She ought to train other doctors on how to approach patients and how to diagnose patient concerns.
