About
Dr. David Kim is a Southern California native, who graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree at USC Keck School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kim continued on to complete his Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kim is a board certified hematologist and medical oncologist who practiced his specialty for 6 years at the award-winning Leavey Cancer Center in Northridge prior to joining UCLA Health in Porter Ranch.

Dr. Kim solved a problem that had been worrying me. The MRI of my breasts was scheduled for the day after my last Chemo infusion and I didn’t know what the timing should be. He assured me that it was perfect. What a relief! He did an exam of my lungs, lymph nodes, and joints. He always inspires confidence, calm and positive feelings. He’s the best!
