About
Dr. David Kim is a Southern California native, who graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree at USC Keck School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kim continued on to complete his Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kim is a board certified hematologist and medical oncologist who practiced his specialty for 6 years at the award-winning Leavey Cancer Center in Northridge prior to joining UCLA Health in Porter Ranch.

About a week before this visit, I received a testing kit from a lab to bring to my appointment today which will test for residual cancer cells in my body. The patient information paper inside was prefilled by Dr. Kim’s staff; all I needed to do was bring it to my appointment and get my blood drawn. I am so grateful for Dr. Kim’s meticulous care; he is one of the finest physicians I have ever known. I trust him and am thankful that he has taken care of me these past 8 years. He is caring, compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of his patients.

Everyone was professional, kind and caring! I had to call back for a clarification on my testing and received 3 follow-up calls, including one from Dr. Kim at the end of the day! Can’t ask for better service!
