Dr. Daniel Pourshalimi is a primary care physician who practices at MPTF|UCLA Health Westside. He is board certified in internal medicine, and uses a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. His purpose and drive comes from helping others and seeing his patients becoming healthier and happier. His clinical interests include the treatment of chronic conditions through science-based nutrition and inspiring healthy lifestyle choices. A Los Angeles native, Dr. Pourshalimi earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed his residency at LAC + USC Medical Center. Before returning to UCLA, he practiced medicine in New Orleans and at Columbia University Medical Center in New York.

The doctor listened patiently as I explained my concerns, one with the test results that I didn’t understand and the other with a pain in my toe, he explained the test results in language I could understand and after examination of my toes explained what was wrong and what I needed to do.
