Daniel M. Kozman, MD, MPH

Dr. Daniel Kozman is a primary care physician who practices in downtown LA. He is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and preventive medicine. His clinical interests include primary preventive and urgent care for all ages, global health, medical education, and health equity.

Dr. Kozman received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at UCLA, where he went on to serve as a Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine. He completed additional training through a Master of Public Health program in Health Services Organization at the Fielding School of Public Health as well as a fellowship in Preventive Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Kozman remains heavily involved in medical education as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, working to equip trainees and faculty with the opportunities, resources, and skills needed to care for marginalized populations in the LA community and abroad. He also serves as the Director of Health Equity Partnerships for the UCLA Department of Medicine to increase community access to primary and specialty care.
