Christopher S. Seet, MD, PhD

Dr. Seet is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist subspecializing in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies; clinical trials of novel therapeutics; and the treatment of acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative neoplasms and related hematologic malignancies. Dr. Seet is also an active basic science and translational investigator in T cell biology and cancer immunotherapy and a member researcher of the Broad Stem Cell Research Center, Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Parker Institute of Cancer Immunotherapy. His research lab focuses on the study of human T cell development, anti-tumor T cell responses, and cellular engineering approaches to cancer immunotherapy. Research support has included funding from the National Cancer Institute, Parker Institute of Cancer Immunotherapy, V Foundation for Cancer Research, Aramont Charitable Foundation, and Broad Stem Cell Research Center.

Dr. Seet received an undergraduate degree in Biological Science from the University of Chicago, medical degree from the University of Sydney, Australia; and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pathology from UCLA. Dr. Seet completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, followed by Hematology/Oncology fellowship at UCLA, before joining the clinical and research faculty of David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2016.
