Assistant Clinical Professor, UCLA Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
Dr. Hirt joined the UCLA Department of Pathology as an Assistant Clinical Professor in 2025 and is a trained Hematopathologist. He completed his anatomic/clinical pathology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and his hematopathology fellowship training at Stanford. Dr. Hirt has a special interest in translation research projects at the intersection of cancer biology, immunology and hematopathology.
