Carolyn K. Kim, MD

Dr. Carolyn Kim is a nephrologist who practices in Pasadena and Burbank. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general nephrology with special interests in hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, chronic kidney disease, preventive care, and transplant-related care. When it comes to patient care, Dr. Kim is committed to building long-term and meaningful connections with patients and emphasizes giving compassionate and high-quality care.

Dr. Kim earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University, followed by an internal medicine internship and residency training at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. She has completed fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. 

Her personal interests include spending time with family and hiking. She was born and raised in Southern California and is happy to serve her home community
