Dr. Nordstrom received his BA in biology and religious studies from Hamline University and his MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then came to Los Angeles where he completed his internal medicine residency at the Cedars-Sinai/West Los Angeles VA program and served an additional year as chief resident. Dr. Nordstrom completed his gastroenterology fellowship at UCLA where he also served as chief fellow and received the Housestaff Teaching Award. He is board certified in gastroenterology.

Dr Nordstrom was right on time for scheduled VideoVisit. He allotted me adequate time for explanation of therapy strategies, review of recent colonoscopy, provided course of care for upcoming domestic travel plans & for future foreign travels scheduled 2026. He never seemed rushed & was extremely thorough in answering any of my questions

I was over an hour early. Saw Dr Nordstrom shortly after taken to the exam room. Easy to converse with. Explained my options. Low-key. No pressure. I was treated with respect.
