Calvin J. Duffaut, MD, is a primary care and sports medicine physician who is passionate about helping people of all ages and activity levels maintain their health and well-being. He believes everyone is an athlete in some way, whether competing professionally or simply staying active for overall health and longevity. Dr. Duffaut's goal is to empower his patients to safely and effectively participate in activities they love.

Dr. Duffaut earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California, completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at LAC+USC Medical Center, and completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at UCLA. His love for sports led him to specialize in sports medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine where he serves on the Education and Fellowship committees.

A lifelong athlete himself who played college basketball, Dr. Duffaut's passion for sports extends beyond the exam room. He stays active in various sports including triathlon, coaches his children's soccer teams, and even serves on the sidelines as a team physician for UCLA Athletics, the LA Sparks, South Bay Lakers and USA Basketball. This deep understanding of athletics, both as a participant and a medical professional, allows him to provide exceptional care tailored to the specific needs of active individuals.

Dr. Duffaut's commitment to patient care goes beyond individual appointments.
