Dr. Wong earned his B.A. at USC and his M.D. at Loyola University of Chicago. He completed his Pulmonary Fellowship in 1985 at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Internal, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine as well as Quality Assurance and Utilization Review. He is Co-Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Little Company of Mary Medical Center.

He ordered X-ray and acted promptly calling paramedics when he noticed I was having shortness of breath and back pain I believe this was the 3rd time I went to his office for breathing problems and landed in a hospital. He's a skilled physician with a lot of knowledge and experience, who is not afraid to show that he's also a human. He listens actively. He remembers significant moments about our shared history. He cares about me, and the feeling is mutual. He doesn't try to fit my square peg into a round hole. He approaches care as a collaboration - informed by his knowledge of the practice of medicine and of medications, and my knowledge of my body and what changes in routine will and won't work for me at this juncture. Even though I currently am well enough to see Dr. Wong only once per year, it is a comfort knowing that he's there if I need him.

Dr. Wong was timely with my appointment, personable, very direct and informative which I appreciated. He made time to answer all my questions and was very thorough especially with me being a first time patient of his. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly which made the whole experience positive. Thank you to everyone for making me feel comfortable.

I am quite impressed with Dr. Wong. I came to see him for a second opinion regarding my pulmonary issues. He listened carefully, gave me thorough and thoughtful answers, and allowed us the time to have a proper conversation about my symptoms. I really like his approach to finding solutions. I also feel confident that he cares not just about my health, but in making sure I understand the plan for care. He's a delightful discovery and I am happy to be transferring my pulmonary care to his office.

He is smart but has absolutely no bedside manner. Doesn't even say hi or bye. Cuts you off when you're talking. No direct eye contact. I think it's time to find a new pulmonologist.

well i can in, purse slipped on my arm and i got a huge slide of skin that came off my arm. I didn't get the woman's name, but she bandaged it and gave me a couple to take home. I then had a nice time with the young man who took my vitals. Dr. Wong is the best! Very caring doctor. I've been going to him for years.

Initial consultation with Dr Wong to assess labored breathing. Preliminary tests indicate asthma like condition. Dr Wong explained the interpretation of the test results graphs .. and prescribed a daily inhaler. I appreciate his straightforward explanation.
