Dr. Brian Boben is a board-certified family medicine physician with UCLA Health, practicing in Marina del Rey. Dr. Boben provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with clinical interests that include sports medicine and preventive medicine. Dr. Boben is committed to partnering with patients to deliver personalized, evidence-based care that supports long-term health, function, and quality of life.
Dr. Boben earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. His residency training in family medicine was completed at Hennepin Healthcare, where Dr. Boben gained extensive experience caring for diverse and medically complex patient populations. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Riverside.
Prior to joining UCLA Health, Dr. Boben worked as an urgent care physician at Contra Costa County Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Boben managed a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions in high-volume clinical settings. While in medical school, Dr. Boben was actively involved in community outreach efforts in Dominica, providing diabetes education and promoting exercise medicine and preventive health initiatives within the local community.
Dr. Boben grew up in the Bay Area. Outside of medicine, Dr. Boben enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and biking.
Dr. Boben is a professional member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
