Arlyn Torres is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner in the Health Risk Assessment program at UCLA.  With her background in in the primary care setting, Arlyn employs a preventative approach to helping patients maximize wellbeing and achieve their health goals. Her focus is on patient education, motivation, and collaboration, and believes that the best healthcare happens when patients, their families, and their healthcare provider are working in close concert.  This work is what drives Arlyn, and it is so rewarding for her to know that patients feel empowered by the care she helps provide.

Arlyn Torres, NP was really excellent! When I told her I was hard of hearing, she spoke up which was very much appreciated. She was thorough in reviewing my history and was patient in answering my concerns and questions. She asked questions and gave me helpful advice without judgement. (I was putting off having some tests done). Arlyn gave me a kind push to get the tests done. She was especially easy to talk to.
