I had a Mohs procedure today at UCLA Dermatology and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Andrea Borba was thoughtful, caring, and incredibly reassuring throughout the entire process. She took the time to clearly explain each step beforehand, regularly checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and even personally called later in the day to see how I was doing. Everything she told me to expect — including some tenderness later in the day — was exactly right, and her post-procedure guidance was very helpful. Beyond being an excellent physician, she has a wonderful bedside manner and genuinely cares about her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone needing dermatologic care or a Mohs procedure.

Always a good experience here. Her attention to detail and concern for patient comfort is exemplary.

She was positive, caring in her engagement re: medical plan going forward. She spoke to her assistant as a peer teammate, not as one subservient. She addressed the purpose of the appointment with action, so had good interpersonal skills as well as surgical. I felt very comfortable/cared for in her presence.

Dr Borba was very comminicative. Thoroughly explained the procedure. Showed concern for my comfort. Overall excellent.
