Dr. Amy Chow earned her medical degree and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She remained at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to complete her fellowship in Endocrinology. Dr. Chow is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is board certified in Endocrinology. Dr. Chow's clinical interests include thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis/osteopenia, polycystic ovarian syndrome and hypogonadism. Dr. Chow strives to provide the best care and make a difference in her patients' lives. During her leisure, she enjoys hiking, swimming, coloring and spending time with her family.

I was having health problems with my health and was feeling horrible. I’d seen other doctors but they didn’t find anything wrong. I went to Dr. Chow with my problems, she ordered many texts and found the problem. My parathyroid was over active! I have so much trust in her. She was so complete finding the problem to make me feel better. She also took the time to explain the removal or keeping it. She is so complete with her findings and her bedside manner is outstanding! I’m so lucky to have her as my Doctor!

Today’s visit with Dr. Chow was a discussion of my lab and image results. Dr. Chow adjusted my thyroid med and ordered a FNA of my thyroid nodule.
