About

Ami Thakor Philipp graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of California San Diego and then went to University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford for medical school and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She then completed residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA. She completed Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the West Los Angeles VA which included pediatric training at CHLA. Ami’s love of Allergy/Immunology developed in medical school when she worked with high risk teens with asthma. Ami enjoys seeing all ages and have a special interest in managing food and drug allergy as well as allergic rhinitis and asthma.

I love Dr. Phillips. She always spends a good amount of time with me, is warm and caring, and super intelligent and knowledgeable. She is my favorite doctor that I've had in my lifetime. I wish all doctors were as caring, collaborative, and knowledgeable as she is.
