About

Alan Chu, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM). He is also a clinical instructor in the UCLA Department of Medicine. Dr. Chu obtained his Medical Degree and Master's in Public Health from the University of Michigan in 2015. He completed his internal medicine primary care residency at UCLA in 2018 and subsequently completed a fellowship in Integrative East-West Medicine. He is currently licensed and boarded in Internal Medicine. His professional interests include nutrition, prevention, medical student education, and system quality improvement. His hobbies include traveling, trying new restaurants, golfing, and enjoying time with his family.

Dr. Alan Chu is a practicing primary care physician in Santa Monica and also sees patients in the Santa Monica UCLA East-West consultative clinic.
