About

Dr. Aashini Master is a hematologist oncologist who practices in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. Dr. Master is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, medical oncology, and integrative medicine. Dr. Master specializes in the treatment of early-stage and metastatic breast cancer. Her work emphasizes personalized treatment strategies, molecular diagnostics, and addressing disparities in breast cancer outcomes.

As Director of the High Risk Breast Program, Dr. Master creates personalized screening protocols for patients at elevated risk for breast cancer based on genetic, familial or breast biopsy-based risk factors.

Her research interests include cancer therapeutics, prevention, exercise and acupuncture in cancer care. She regularly combines these therapies with conventional treatments to provide a holistic approach to cancer treatment.

Dr. Master is a Southern California native, who received her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Southern California, and her hematology/oncology fellowship at the combined Harbor-UCLA and City of Hope program. She was chosen as chief fellow during her final year. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University.

I really appreciate Dr. Masters because she is very knowledgeable, talented, thorough and knows about different treatment options for her patients. She takes time to address questions and does great with answering questions.

She is so busy, yet when you are talking with her, you don’t feel like she’s rushing to get to the next patient. She also is very assertive about looking out for my needs based upon what I say. I cannot imagine having a better oncologist.
