Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, are highly trained healthcare professionals who provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians. APPs see patients for consultations, follow-up visits, perform procedures, order and interpret test results, prescribe and manage medications, provide education, and promote continuity of care.
