Elizabeth Del Re, RN, CDCES, is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 20 years of nursing experience and 15 years dedicated to diabetes education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Elizabeth is passionate about diabetes education and prevention. She provides personalized care to patients with Prediabetes, Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Diabetes During Pregnancy, Latent Autoimmune Diabetes of Adulthood and Secondary Diabetes. She has extensive experience in insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring. She specializes in assisting patients with glucose management, lifestyle modification, nutrition, diabetes medications and preventing diabetes complications. She teaches the “Living with Type 2 Diabetes” group classes via Zoom. 

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys going on bike rides with her family and painting watercolors.
