UCLA and Dodgers
UCLA Health serves as the Official Medical Partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers in a multiyear partnership between the two organizations.
UCLA Health was named the official medical partner to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2019, beginning a multiyear relationship in which UCLA Health physicians began providing care to players in 2020. The two organizations have also committed to on Dodgers community programs to benefit the community and to deliver their joint mission of community service, fitness and health for a broad and diverse audience.

Community Program Highlights
With equity as a guiding principle, the collaboration between UCLA Health and the Los Angeles Dodgers allows for a more meaningful impact in the community.
Inglewood Drive-through Event
UCLA Health, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF), the American Heart Association (AHA), the Lakers Youth Foundation, and other community organizations partnered to distribute food and resources to Inglewood-area families in a drive-through event at Morningside High School. Volunteers gave out pantry and produce food boxes, physical activity kits, personal protective equipment (PPE) and COVID-19 educational information, games and multicultural toys, L.A. Dodgers shirts, bobbleheads and more.
Home Fitness Kits
Through a partnership with UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation began distributing at-home fitness kits to all 500 youth of KIPP Academy of Innovation in East Los Angeles. The kits include a reusable bag, water bottle, frisbee, jump rope, whiffle ball, cones, a yoga mat, a rubber playground ball, a resistance band, a mask, and hand sanitizer.
Pediatric Patients Use Robot to "Run Bases" at Dodgers Stadium
Running the bases at Dodger Stadium is a fun tradition that many children look forward to after most Sunday games. But not all children, especially those who are currently hospitalized or recovering from an illness at home, can physically experience it. That's why UCLA Health, the Dodgers and OhmniLabs teamed up to create a virtual run-the-bases experience for 10 pediatric patients at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
