Ronald Goldsberry, MD

Dr. Ronald Goldsberry was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Florida A&M University before working as a microbiologist with the Houston Health Department. His experiences in public health strengthened his commitment to pursuing a career in medicine and ultimately led him to attend Baylor College of Medicine.

During medical school, Dr. Goldsberry discovered a passion for Radiation Oncology through its unique combination of patient-centered care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity to improve patients' quality of life throughout treatment. He became involved in clinical research focused on patient-reported outcomes, health equity, and quality improvement—with a focus on head and neck and breast cancers.

As a resident at UCLA, Dr. Goldsberry is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based cancer care while contributing to research that enhances the patient experience and promotes equitable access to high-quality oncology care. His academic interests include improving the quality and delivery of cancer care through patient-centered outcomes research, quality improvement, and initiatives that reduce disparities in cancer care.
