Dr. Christian De Caro, originally from El Dorado Hills, CA, graduated with his bachelor's degree in Physics from UCLA. He then completed his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison under the mentorship of Dr. Ke Li and Dr. Guang-Hong Chen. During his doctoral studies, Dr. De Caro specialized in the development of next-generation detector systems for advanced X-ray and CT imaging.

Dr. De Caro is passionate about translating his expertise in imaging physics to the clinical challenges of radiation oncology. He is particularly interested in the optimization and development of image-guidance and adaptive radiotherapy techniques.
