Program Coordinator and Administrator

Xen Colón serves as the Program Coordinator for the Department of Medicine Office of Community Engagement and Inclusive Excellence, supporting Dr. Alejandra Casillas and providing programmatic support for CERP and AIM-AHEAD. She earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and East Asian studies at New York University in 2018. Prior to obtaining her Master's, she interned with the International Rescue Committee, supporting refugees from Central and South America with their resettlement in New York City. Xen earned her Master of Public Diplomacy at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, focusing on program evaluation and strategic communications while also supporting the Center on Public Diplomacy with editorial and social media content creation. She has most recently worked in advocating and supporting adults and children with learning disabilities and is passionate about health diplomacy and supporting underserved populations.
