Skye Bristol, PhD

Dr. Skye Bristol is the Scientific Training in Addiction Research Techniques (START) Program Director. She completed a NIDA T32 Postdoctoral Fellow in the Substance Abuse Training Center in Public Health at the University of Florida. She earned a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Sciences from the University of South Florida and a B.S. in Health Education from the University of Florida. Dr. Bristol’s research centers on substance misuse, youth development, neighborhood disadvantage, and health disparities, with a focus on marginalized communities. She is also a proud alumnus of the 2022 START pilot program.
