Scientific Interests

Dr. Martin is a palliative medicine physician, health services researcher, and physician informaticist whose work focuses on systems-level interventions designed to improve the delivery of timely, high-quality palliative care. She has advanced the integration of palliative care and collection of patient-reported outcomes into standard radiation oncology, medical oncology, and surgical oncology care both at UCLA and nationally.
