Scientific Interests

The UCLA Chemo-Neuropathy Clinic was founded in 2022 and launched to UCLA Health Oncology in January 2023. Patients referred to the clinic are evaluated for acute and chronic toxicities related to anti-cancer drugs including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The UCLA Chemo-Neuropathy Clinic is presently the only standalone clinic dedicated to the evaluation and management of patients with acute neurologic toxcities of anti-cancer drugs housed in Neuromuscular Neurology in the United States. The program is interested in understanding factors that may contribute to, or predict severity of peripheral neurotoxicity related to anti-cancer drugs.
