About Kelli
Kelli is a seasoned marketing and fundraising professional with over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, specializing in strategic oversight and program development within the nonprofit sector. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Kelli's entrepreneurial spirit has been the driving force behind her successful career in both the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Paralegal Certification from the University of San Diego, where she began her career working as a paralegal for victims of domestic violence.
Kelli is also an alumna of the University of San Francisco’s Sport Management Master’s Program. Her passion for blending philanthropy with community impact came to life during her Master’s thesis, which became the foundation for Run for Her, a 5K run/walk event that raised over $7 million for ovarian cancer research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. During her nine years at Cedars-Sinai, Kelli served as a Senior Team Lead & Producer, managing large-scale fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives.
In her previous role as Deputy Director at Tower Cancer Research Foundation, Kelli further pursued her passion for survivorship support and philanthropy, contributing to the foundation’s key programs. Today, as the Administrative Director at the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology, Kelli manages key administrative functions, leads and provides essential guidance for patient support programs, marketing and communications, strategic planning, and philanthropic initiatives. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring comprehensive care and advocacy for those impacted by cancer.
Outside of her professional work, Kelli enjoys golfing, spending time with her dog Fynleigh, and cherishing moments with friends and family.
