Dr. Noah Federman specializes in treating children, adolescents and young adults who have the aggressive cancers of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. He helps oversee a state-of-the-art comprehensive and multidisciplinary program involving pediatric and medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, orthopedic oncology surgeons, musculoskeletal radiologists and pathologists, nuclear medicine specialists, physical therapists and prosthetic specialists. Federman's leads an experienced clinical research team devoted to providing access to clinical trials for children with refractory, recurrent and metastatic bone and soft tissue cancers. In addition, Federman is the Medical Director of the Clinical Translational Research Center, a part of the Clinical Translational Science Institute at UCLA, where he oversees the conduct of more than 200 human subject clinical trials at UCLA. In 2016 Federman was awarded the Sherman Mellinkoff Award, the highest faculty award in the David Geffen School of Medicine exemplifying the finest in teaching, doctor-patient relationships and the art of the practice of medicine.
